We purchased laminate flooring through Empire Today and had their installers put the flooring in, total bill was 5800.00. Now we have the floor separating both horizontally and vertically at the interlocking system.

They have been out 3 times with the installer, installation manager as well as a independent inspector. The offered to replace most of the flooring in the high traffic areas, the floor looks the same under the couch and other areas that are not high traffic-other than the 5 lb cat that can wiggle into those areas. We want a whole new floor and they will not budge so far. We are not confident in the product and have told them just to come and take the floor up- we do not want it.

We have been going through this for 3 months now and we have only had the floor for a total of almost 11 months. We do not and have not recommended them.

We are considering contacting a lawyer. It is not a 5800 floor by any means, our patience is out.
