I called Empire carpet for a Free in-home estimate and was told that "both decision makers" must be present. I told them my wife WAS the decision maker and I did NOT have to be present.

I was bothered at first because that is the same words the high pressure time-share people use. I was right. Unlike Lowes or Homedepot who walked in with a tape measure, They came in with samples and wanted to do a high pressure sale routine and would not talk to my wife unless I was there. he then made a appointment for the next Saturday and I called to cancel it and the customer-no-service lady was very rude and would not take "no" for an answer.

To make the point I told them that if they showed up, they would be trespassing and I would have them arrested. No one should have to put up with this horse hocky in their own home.
