Finally, I am so happy to report Empire Today has refunded the money we paid them, and we have hired a new company. We could not be more pleased with our new beautiful floor that was installed correctly the first time. Thank you for allowing us to report our happy ending.

1/11/12...still waiting for Empire Today to fulfill their agreement...20 days and counting. Would love to report a happy ending. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

The attorney for Empire Today, Mr.Crane, made an offer to resolve this nightmare.

My attorney contacted me, and it seemed to be fair and a long time coming. I told her to send over our acceptance, with the stipulation that I would not release them from any complaints (to their bonding company or the State Contractors Licensing Board) until I had the check in my hand.

That was over 2 weeks, ago, and we are now waiting them to accept the offer they submitted...

I do not understand why they continue to cause us such stress, other than it is a power play.
