Empire Today strikes again
I had Empire Today come to my home for an estimate on flooring. The salesman suggested laminate.
I explained that my husband and I both work and we have two small dogs. We might be gone for 8 or 9 hours. What if there's an accident. Salesperson said and I quote "no problem at all, spills of all kinds wipe right up".
We asked again, are you sure. Response, "yes, positive". less than a year old and we notice the floor is lifting. They send a person to inspect.
Of course by now, you know the end of the story. They will not do anything. The dog had an accident and the floor is ruined. I called and called and got Tim Sherwin who said he's a manager for Customer Service.
He calls with a "restricted" number. Is he afraid of something? And he is rude and condescending like all the other reviewers have commented. He even told me to "have a nice day" before he hung up on me.
So, here's the scoop. I have written to the CEO, Steve Silvers, The Office of the Atty General for NJ and Channel 7.
I will not give up until I get my money back from these liars, who cheat innocent, hard working people who just want their homes to look nice. They lie and the best of all is I went to the manufacturer's website and it said the flooring they sold me is meant for "small office spaces with less traffic"..they put it in my entrance way where everyone in the world comes and goes...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
