I had a rep. come to my house and give me a price for carpet, tile and two blinds.

She measured and came up with a price. I told her I could not afford it. She asked me what my budget was. I told her the most I could spend.

Dumb on my part. She called her two Managers and of course they could meet my budget! She dropped the price by $5000.00! I wish I would have told her less.

Is this price gouging or what? I am getting my items somewhere else with honest people for less than what she quoted me.
