Empire Today sells shoddy merchandise !! Two years ago, I bought shades, and have had nothing but problems with them.

One large shade had to be repaired four times in the first year after purchase because the chord broke. The second shade needed to be replaced because it did not go up and down properly, the third shade's knob broke off, and the other large shade's cord broke, and it has to be fixed. I was told that these shades had a lifetime of free repairs, and now I am being told that I have to pay $50.00 to have these shades repaired. I will not recommend Empire Today to anyone !

I have neighbors who went to other vendors for shades, and have not had one shade break on them !! Do not go to Empire !!
