Had a "free" estimate yesterday from Emipre Carpets and Flooring.Empire gave me 12 months interest free then applied for $7200.00 to Wells Fargo and froze the "estimate amount of $5200.00"

When I called Empire to cancel, my the cost was lowered to $4500.00 which I still refused.

Wells Fargo couldn't cancel the application as Empire already frozen $5200.00!

I feel like an utter fool, so much for a free estimate and 'paying for one room and getting the rest of the house free!My credit is at the mercy of Empire and Wells Fargo
